18+ and consent
The two rules that are not negotiable, and what we actually do to enforce them.
The rules
Adults only. You must be 18 or older, and so must every person in every photo you upload.
Consent is required. Upload photos of yourself, or of an adult who agreed to this specific use. A photo being public does not make it consent.
What happens when the rules are broken
- A photo that reads as a minor is refused. The account is closed permanently, the balance is forfeited, and the material is deleted.
- A credible report that a photo was of somebody who did not consent gets the material deleted and, on a repeat, the account closed.
- We keep no archive to hand over or hand around: everything is gone at 24 hours anyway.
If you are the person in a photo
Use the removal page. You do not need an account, you do not need to prove who you are first, and we answer within 48 hours. If the material is already deleted by the clock, we will say so.
The law, briefly
In a growing number of countries, making or sharing a sexual image of a real identifiable person without their consent is a criminal offence, and sharing is punished more heavily than making. We are not your lawyer, but we are also not going to pretend the risk is theoretical.
